By careful choice of electives, the BS in Chemistry and a Concentration in Chemical Physics can meet the requirements for American Chemical Society Certification. Students wishing to graduate with an ACS certified degree must take, BY-310 Biochemistry and Lab (4 cr.),  CE-401 Advanced Inorganic Chemistry (3 cr.), CE-401L Advanced Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory (1 cr.),and CE-452 Advanced Organic Chemistry (3 cr.) for a total of 11 credits, and apply to the Department Chair.
