A native speaker may be exempt from FS-300A Advanced Spanish Conversation and Oral Discourse (3 cr.) upon consultation with the Chair of the Department. The student may substitute any FS-300+ course to fulfill the three credit requirement.

Notes

  • 58 credits must be completed at the 200 level or higher.
  • Students in this program must complete a minimum of 21 credit hours in business courses at Monmouth University in the 300+ level (not including Internships or Cooperative Education courses).
  • Students who do not place into FS-201 Intermediate Spanish I (3 cr.) or FS-202 Intermediate Spanish II (3 cr.) will be required to take FS-101 Elementary Spanish I (3 cr.), and/or FS-102 Elementary Spanish II (3 cr.) in accordance with the placement policy of the Department of Foreign Language Studies.
